Treat!!!

Forget the trick... All Addy wanted was the treats. No matter how hard I tried to get her to say "Trick-or-Treat" in the weeks leading up to the big day, all that ever came out of her mouth was "TREAT!" She's no dummy.... I decided on a costume theme for the little one and the even littler one this year and ran with it. My mom made all of our costumes growing up and I feel the need to follow in her footsteps. So off to designing and creating I went, and I'm pretty darn proud of how they turned out. The kiddos looked adorable and Adalyn had a great time visiting the neighbors and asking for goodies. Despite the impending Hurricane Sandy, the weather held off enough for us to get a bag full of goodies and hand out some snacks at our house to the neighborhood kids. Adalyn was hysterical standing at the door looking out the window... waiting. As soon as she saw some kids walking down the street she would open the door and shout "Kids! Kids!" to make sure they headed in her direction. She had just as much fun giving out popcorn as she did getting candy of her own.
