Welcome to my blog!

Hello and thanks for stopping by! I'm a mama to my two sweet kiddos, Adalyn who is 2 and my new baby boy Mason. I started blogging after Adalyn was born as a way to write down memories for her to be able to look back at and ended up printing my first year's blog into a book so my babies have their childhood memories documented forever. By day, I'm a physical therapist. By night and weekend, I'm a loving wife to my husband Scott and a totally in love mama to my dear babies and the center of my world, Adalyn Rose and Mason Scott, along with our two furbabies. When I found out I was pregnant I knew I would "try" breastfeeding. Now that they are here, I'm a breastfeeding, babywearing, extended rearfacing, part-time co-sleeping, babyfood making, constantly researching mama. Some people call it crunchy... I call it living better for them... A little at a time! And this is our story...

In Addy's Words

Adalyn has become worlds more verbal since her 2nd birthday. Some days its wonderful.... some days, well... let's just say some days she should keep her words to herself, because often they are accompanied by her patented attitude that continues to develop at a crazy fast speed. She has developed quite the vocabulary over the past few weeks, so I thought it would be fun to ask her some interview questions to see what kind of answers I would get. So here goes.... Adalyn's 2 year and 2 month interview:

1. What is your name? ADDY
2. What is your brother's name? BROTHER
3. Who is your favorite pet? CINDER
4. What do you like to eat? RAVIOLIS AND BERRIES
5. What is your favorite color? YELLOW
6. Who is your best friend? BROTHER
7. Who are your other friends? TOYS
8. What is your favorite movie? GO-GO (this is her word for anything that involves superheros)
9. What is your favorite TV show? CAILLOU and CHOO-CHOO
10. What is your favorite toy? PHONE
11. What is your favorite place to go? HEATHER'S HOUSE
12. What is your favorite animal? LILY (her stuffed bunny)
13. What is your favorite thing to do outside? SWING
14. What is your favorite drink? MILK
15. What is your favorite snack? BANANA
16. What is your favorite thing to do with Daddy? PLAY HORSEY
17. What is your favorite thing to do with Mommy? HOLD YOU
18. What is your favorite thing to wear? MONKEY SHIRT
19. What is your favorite number? 2
20. What is your favorite letter? P

There you have it... straight from the toddler's mouth. It will be so fun to look back over time and see how these answers change and develop!
