Dear Adalyn Rose,
Happy 11 month birthday you adorable little lady!
As always, the past month has passed by much too quickly for my liking! And now here we are, one step closer to your 1st birthday. I can't believe how fast it is approaching!
The past month has been wonderful, nothing short of perfect. I am proud to say you finally have a pearly white in that sweet smile of yours. On the bottom left you have one single tooth that appeared a day or two after your 10 month birthday, and now here we are at your 11 month birthday with still just one. They sure are taking their sweet time...
What wild and crazy things have you gotten into this month, you ask? You have mastered "sooo big", walking with your push toys, crawling at lightning speed, running your fingers over your lips to make silly noises, imitating noises (especially the words bark bark, like your puppies). You are interacting with your furry sisters much more, wanting to play with them, feed them and give them their toys. You have learned how to turn the water on in the bathtub and love to stand outside the tub at and turn the water on and off. You still insist that the dogs toys are yours, and they insist that yours are theirs. If Mommy and Daddy turn around for a split second you make a beeline for the stairs and are able to quickly climb to the top all by yourself (much to our dismay!). You have discovered how fun it is to splash in the doggie's water bowl and often try to sneak out into the kitchen to do so.
You get oh so excited when we are on walks or playing in the front yard and you see other dogs. You just love animals and Daddy and I are so excited for our upcoming trips to the aquarium and the zoo to see your face when you see all of those animals and fish! Oh the faces you make... it's one of my favorite things about you. You have such expressive moments that just make me giggle.
You're such a big girl. You haven't had much of mama's homemade baby food in awhile. You are eating mostly all table food and are especially fond of after dinner freeze pops.
The next month will be busy baby girl! We have your first trip to the beach planned, your birthday photo shoot and your Bumble Bee Birthday Bash scheduled on your birthday! What a month we have to look forward to! Although, any day I get to spend with you and see your contagious smile is one that I look forward to.
You continue to be the sweetest, most beautiful, silliest, snuggliest, happiest baby I know. I'm beyond blessed to get to spend the rest of my life getting to know you better, getting to see you grow up, and getting to love you forever.
Love you always baby girl,
Mama
XOXO
P.S. I love you more today than yesterday, and I'm gonna love you more tomorrow than today!
Welcome to my blog!
Hello and thanks for stopping by! I'm a mama to my two sweet kiddos, Adalyn who is 2 and my new baby boy Mason. I started blogging after Adalyn was born as a way to write down memories for her to be able to look back at and ended up printing my first year's blog into a book so my babies have their childhood memories documented forever. By day, I'm a physical therapist. By night and weekend, I'm a loving wife to my husband Scott and a totally in love mama to my dear babies and the center of my world, Adalyn Rose and Mason Scott, along with our two furbabies. When I found out I was pregnant I knew I would "try" breastfeeding. Now that they are here, I'm a breastfeeding, babywearing, extended rearfacing, part-time co-sleeping, babyfood making, constantly researching mama. Some people call it crunchy... I call it living better for them... A little at a time! And this is our story...
