Adalyn's First Lake Day!

What is better than FINALLY getting some summer weather? Being able to watch your little girl experience her first day at the lake! We lathered on the sunscreen, pulled on the hat and were off to spend the afternoon on the shores of Lake Hauto! It was so much fun to watch Adalyn eating playing in the sand, splashing at the water's edge and playing with her friend, JoElle. JoElle and Adalyn go to the same babysitter and were born only two days apart. They are so sweet together and got very excited, waving and reaching for each other, when we got there. Adalyn has even learned to share already. I guess she thought the few handfuls of sand that she was able to sneak past me and into her mouth tasted yummy, because she insisted that her little buddy JoElle have a few tastes too... shoving handfuls of sand at her mouth! Ughhh. We're going to have to work on that whole sharing thing! We had so much fun that Adalyn and JoElle are going to have another lakeside playdate this week!
