Adalyn's newest "talents"
1. Say "touchdown" and her arms shoot up in the air faster than you can imagine.
2. Ask her what a snake does and she will open her mouth as wide as she can and do everything with her tongue EXCEPT stick it out.
3. Spinning in circles. Until she falls down.
4. Touches nearly any part of her face when asked where her eyes, nose, ears, hair, etc are. Except her mouth. Ask her where her mouth is and she just opens it as wide as she can.
5. While looking through her books (her newest favorite toys...) when she stumbles upon a picture of a birdie (or a tweet tweet as we lovingly refer to them) she puts her thumb and index finger together over and over again to sign for "birdie".
6. She now refuses to sit down for baths. Ugh....
7. She has become such a tease. Ask her for something and she will come over and offer it to you, then turn and run away as quickly as she can... giggling all the way.
8. Loving on her puppies. They get big bear hugs and kisses galore!
9. She has graduated to sleeping with a pillow. Ok, a pillow pet. Which she insists on taking to bed with her.
10. Tell her she is silly and she might just cover her mouth and laugh with a silly face hidden under those tiny hands.
Welcome to my blog!
Hello and thanks for stopping by! I'm a mama to my two sweet kiddos, Adalyn who is 2 and my new baby boy Mason. I started blogging after Adalyn was born as a way to write down memories for her to be able to look back at and ended up printing my first year's blog into a book so my babies have their childhood memories documented forever. By day, I'm a physical therapist. By night and weekend, I'm a loving wife to my husband Scott and a totally in love mama to my dear babies and the center of my world, Adalyn Rose and Mason Scott, along with our two furbabies. When I found out I was pregnant I knew I would "try" breastfeeding. Now that they are here, I'm a breastfeeding, babywearing, extended rearfacing, part-time co-sleeping, babyfood making, constantly researching mama. Some people call it crunchy... I call it living better for them... A little at a time! And this is our story...
